Mr. Nathaniel Gathany Roberson's Obituary
Funeral services for Nathaniel Gathany Roberson, 72, will be held Sunday January 15, 2017 at 2:00 p m at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ketchum officiating with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN. Mr. Roberson died Wednesday January 11, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Obion County, TN son of the late Marvin and Jessie Chandler Roberson but had lived the majority of his life in Dyer and Crockett County. He served as the Director of Public Works for the City of Friendship, a member of the volunteer fire department and was a member of the Christian Sabbath Assembly. Survivors include his wife Peggy Patton Roberson, Dyersburg, TN, sons, James N. Roberson(Terry),, Friendship, TN, Ricky L. Roberson(Pam), Dyersburg, TN, daughter, Tammy Roberson (Rick Whitlow) Obion County, TN, brothers, Tony Roberson, Dyersburg, TN Steve Roberson, Ripley, TN, sisters, Layvonne Bain, Sue Hill, Darla Roberson, Karen Galloway, all of Gates, TN, Rebecca Endmon, Brownsville, TN, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and a special friend Bill Thrasher, He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin S. Roberson and 2 great grandchildren, Dakoda Cryst and Avery Beasley. Pallbearers will be Justin Roberson, Lynn Fortner, Richard Patton, Ronnie Patton, Steve Laster, Jeff Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Patton, Addison Walker, Brandon Clifton and members of the Friendship Fire Department. Visitation will at the funeral home on Saturday Jan. 14th from 5-8 p m.
