She was my godmother. Growing up her and Raymond would take me to see Santa Claus. She never forgot my birthday and always made me feel loved and special. I never saw her without a smile on her face. My prayers are with Raymond and her family.
Patsy and I were childhood friends and we had a great time growing up in Jackson . We went to the movies, to the Dairy Queen and had had sleep overs at our houses! I remember how smart she was in school. She could read a poem and know what the poet was saying when others couldn't figure out the meaning! She had such a gift for this and often helped the teacher with the hidden meanings of poetry! I remember when she became a mother and how excited she was! I never met Carly but I do remember she loved her dearly. She was a trooper dealing with her diabetes, never complaining , always such a positive person? I loved her and her family--Bibby and Papa! I know Heaven has embraced her and is a better place with her there!
Prayers for Raymon, Carley and her precious grandchildren. There will be hard days. Remember the blessings and sweet times. They will give you strength. You are loved.
I was so sadden to hear of sweet Patsy's passing but know definately she is with her Lord and Savior. I grew up with she and Raymond at West Jackson Baptist Church in the 1970s. Many memories of innocent days and as a young girl, the impact she and Raymond had on me. Prayers for the family and strength in the coming days.
What a great example to follow ,peace with you.I hope God keeps u in his loving arms.
I am so very sorry to hear the news of Patsy's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. She was one of the finest women I have ever had the privilege to know.
Even in her death, through her final wishes, she is still teaching us. What an amazing woman, PatsyTurner, a Saint in our church and a pillar and testament in my personal faith journey. How I long for one more deep conversation with you. You will never be forgotten, you were anointed, walked among us, and changed us all. I was blessed that my path crossed yours, a divinely orchestrated encounter, I have no doubt. And while I don’t know your family personally, may they be comforted knowing this and that Your name is written in my bible as a VIP. You were a Very Important Person in my life, imparting wisdom with so much authority, for which I’ll remain eternally grateful. Rest In Peace our precious anointed friend and reap from the treasures stored for you in heaven. We know they are abundant and over flowing. Our Heavenly Father has spoken, “This is my Daughter, Patsy, with whom I am well pleased”.
