Peggie Sue Smith's Obituary
Peggie Sue Smith, 71, of Friendship, TN left her earthly home on Saturday April 18, 2026 at the West TN Health Care Center in Jackson. MS Smith had been in declining health for the past few months. She was born in Trenton, TN daughter of the late James Park and Peggy Rice Smith, and had been a lifelong resident of Crockett County, TN.
During her employment years she was employed by Gold Kist Co. and later was a technician for USDA. She was also a member of the Nance Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Donnie Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is a sister, Pat Branch, Friendship, TN, nephews, Scott, Michael, Daniel, Clayton Smith, sister in laws, Terrie and Cindy Smith.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 23, 2026 at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. to celebrate her life. At her request she was cremated.
