Percy Gene Thompson Jr.'s Obituary
Percy Gene Thompson, Jr, 66, a resident of Dyersburg, TN parted this life on Monday March 30,2026 at his home, He was born in Jackson, TN son of Percy G. and Mary Lou Allen Thompson who survives. He lived most of his life in Friendship TN and was retired from the Coil Department of Ermo Factory. Percy was also actively involved in the family farm.
He attended the Finley Pentecostal Church.
Cherishing his memory in addition to his parents is a daughter, April Kennon, brothers,
Richard Thompson, Paul Thompson, both of Friendship, TN and a grandchild Christopher Kennon. He was preceded by his wife Belinda Riles.
Services will be held on April 1,2026 at noon at the Friendship Funeral Home with Charles Gable officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edd Lambert, Martin Thompson, Daniel Boone, and Michael Thompson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 11 A.M.
