Robert Odel DeShields' Obituary
Graveside services for Robert Odel DeShields, 81, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday December 4, 2023 at the Bellevernon Cemetery with Rev. Brent Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Mr. DeShields died on Thursday, November 30, 2023 of a sudden illness. He was born in McKinnon, TN son of the late William and Lillian Rushing DeShields but lived most of his life in Missouri returning to Tennessee in 2011. He was a retired Metal Fabricator Contractor retiring from Negwer. He was a Baptist in belief. Survivors include his son James DeShields (Jeannie), Tigrett, TN. brothers, Charles DeShields, Springville, TN Gene DeShields (Jan), Las Vegas, Nevada, nephews William & Russell Eric DeShields, Sister-in-Law, Pamela Parks DeShields and his furry pets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Betty Lois DeShields, sisters Toni Mae Rushing, Mary Bell Gabel, Pearle Dean and brothers Mack, Russell & William DeShields, and Thomas Durham.
