Sandra Carol Latham's Obituary
Funeral services for Sandra Carol Latham, 69, will be 1:00 PM on Thursday December 7, 2023 at Maury City Funeral Home with Chad Tritt officiating with burial following in the Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Latham the widow of Thomas Wayne Latham died at the Bells Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born in Jackson, TN daughter of the late James Franklin and Myra Joyce Manning Freeman and had lived most of her life in Maury City enjoying being a homemaker and active in community events. Mrs. Latham was a Church of Christ in belief. Survivors include daughters, Dessia McCain (Jesse) of Knoxville, TN, Tammila Latham Akins, Medina, TN, step son Thomas Latham Jr., Cheyenne, Wyoming, sisters Charlotte Cottner, Maury City, TN, Kay Tritt Alamo, TN, brother, Edwin Freeman (Ann) Friendship, TN, half sister Benita Shatley, Halls, TN, grandchildren, Colton Akins, Jackson, TN, Owen Akins, Medina, TN, Brianna Flores, Kyle, Texas, Destiny Elmore, Alamo, TN, great grandchildren Camilla and Lorenzo Flores and Audrey Elmore. In addition to her husband of twenty one years, she was preceded by a brother Michael Freeman, half brother Harold Freeman, half sister Carolyn Harber and a daughter Sonya Michellle Latham. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Maury City Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be Gary Reynolds, Jason Reynolds, Franklin McDonald, Robert Kelch, James Poe and Donnie Walters. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
