Mrs. Sara Edith Buffington's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Sara E. Buffington, 82, will be held Monday March 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. Buffington died on Friday March 8, 2019 at the Dyersburg West TN Healthcare Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Friendship, TN daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Stallings Pitts and had lived her entire life in the community. She was homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church where she was active until her health failed. She was married to Dale Buffington for fifty seven years who preceded her in death in 2017. Her survivors include her daughter Edith Hayden (Bill), Obion, TN. Pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Ham Haley, Blake Haley, and Terry Harris. Visitation will be at funeral home beginning at noon on Monday March 11, 2019.
