Sarah Evelyn Laster's Obituary
Services for Sarah Evelyn Laster, 74, Friendship, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Trevor Sewell, Rev. Tommy Warner and Rev. Jacob Laster officiating. She passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Mrs. Laster was born in Dyer county, daughter of the late Mose and Linder Ange Thompson. She was a sales clerk and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where she had served as a nursery and Sunday School teacher. Survivors include her husband Wayne Laster of Friendship; son Steve Laster (Tina) of Friendship; daughter Deb Gipson (Jeff) of Jackson; sister Peggy Monday of Friendship; sister-in-law Patricia Thompson of Friendship; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at the funeral home.
