Shirley Ann Rodgers' Obituary
Services for Shirley Ann Rodgers, 86, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Gibb Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Crockett Mills Cemetery. Mrs. Rodgers died Wednesday, July 27th at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Crockett County, daughter of the late Ira and Augusta Dickerson Jones and had lived most of her life in Crockett County. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Barker's Chapel Baptist Church. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Rodgers and brothers, Bobby and Charles Jones. Survivors include son, Rodney Rodgers (Connie) of Crockett Mills; daughters, Candy Brasfield (Steve) of Crockett Mills, Deena Ryan of Alamo; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way. Pallbearers to serve will be Keith Riley, Tommy Butner, Bob Bushart, Greg Bushart, Russell Bushart and Pete Turnage. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Forsythe and Bobby Privett.
