Shirley Ann Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Shirley Ann Williams, 77, will be held Friday July 1, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. at the
Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Jerald Dawson officiating with burial to follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. Williams the wife of Pete Williams died Thursday June 30 at the Tennova Regional Hospital in Dyersburg after a brief illness. She was born in Chicago, IL daughter of the late Andrew W. and Helen Vanderly Heerdt and had lived in the Friendship Community since 1963. Mrs. Williams was a registered nurse and worked many years in the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center and a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by sons, Donald Williams (Linda) Friendship, TN, David Williams (Teresa) Friendship, TN, daughter Debbie Quick (Mike) Denver, Colorado, brother, Edward Heerdt (Nancy) Chicago, IL, nieces Karen Apple, Donna Martin, nephew Edward Heerdt, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gordon Young, Jeremy Williams, Justin Crocker, Jon Welch, John Williams, and Edward Heerdt. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Friday July 1, 2016.
