Mrs. Sue Wicker's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Wicker, 89, will be held on Wednesday Sept.5, 2018 at 10:00 A. M. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Nichols officiating with burial following in the Oakview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wicker died on Sunday Sept. 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Friendship, TN daughter of the late Willie E. and Betty Sue Beaver Weatherford, educated and lived her entire life here. Mrs. Wicker was a sales clerk for the J. C. Penny Department Store for thirty five years and a member of the Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Wicker in 2013. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Lane (Tommy), Alamo, TN, son, Garry S. Wicker (Linda), Hollowrock, TN, sister, Mary Ruth Britt (Wayne), Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Leah Lane Simpson, Dustin Lane, Jana Higdon, and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chad Simpson, Blake Simpson, Grant Simmons, Josh Higdon, Jim Irvin, Corey Hutchison and Levin Lane. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday Sept. 4, 2018 from 5 to 8 p. m. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
