Susan Cherry Gourley's Obituary
Susan Cherry Gourley, 64, of Friendship passed away on September 25, 2017.
She was born on September 17,1953 in Memphis, TN to the late Buford and Evelyn Moore Cherry.
After graduating from West TN Business College,she enjoyed a successful accounting career, mostly recently at PPL Staffing for 13 years. She was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church, where she held numerous positions over the years.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Friendship United Methodist Church with burial in the Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Friendship Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Gourley of Friendship. Son Ryan Gourley (Mary Kate) of Alamo and daughter Brooke Doss (Tony) of Brighton. Grandchildren Kate, Avery and Ruth Gourley and Finlee Brooke & Gracie Doss. She is also survived by her sisters Nina Gourley (Tom) of Dyersburg and Dawn Owens (Phillip) of Martin and brother Johnny Cherry (Nancy) of Friendship.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jimmy Cherry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Friendship United Methodist Church – Building Fund, P.O. Box 37, Friendship, TN 38034 or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
