Mr. Terry Dwayne Higdon's Obituary
Funeral services for Terry Dwayne Higdon, 61, will be held Tuesday January 30, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at the Dorris Chapel Church of Christ with Tim Fuqua officiating with burial to follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Mr. Higdon died Thursday January 25, 2018 the result of a construction accident in Tipton County, TN. He was born in Carroll County, TN son of the late James Elton and Margaret Jane Scott Higdon and was a Utility employee for A T & T. He had lived in the Friendship Community for the past fifteen years and previously living in Camden and McKenzie, TN. Mr. Higdon was also a musician having played in different bands and was a member of the Dorris Chapel Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Judy Isom Higdon, Friendship, TN, daughter, Tracey Pruitt (Larry) Friendship, TN, sisters, Sherry Epperson (Dennis) McKenzie, TN, Sue Patton (Pat),Tampa, Florida, Velta Flippin, McKenzie, TN, Linda Reed (Larry), McKenzie, TN, Lorene Hudson (Jerry),McKenzie, TN Jorene Baker(Sam),McKenzie, TN, brothers, Richard Wall, (Pat) Cordova, TN, Donald Higdon, (Gail) McKenzie, TN two grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by one sister Shelba McCaslin, and one niece Kim Flippin. Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Higdon, Larry Pruitt, Colby Pruitt, Timothy Reed, Kevin Reed, Derrick McCaslin. Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Pruitt, Patrick McCaslin, Jeron Hudson, Jason Flippin, Michael Epperson and Matthew Epperson. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 P. M.
