Bishop Thomas Edward "Bo" Kendall's Obituary
Services for Bishop Thomas Edward "Bo" Kendall, 62, will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Lindon D. Frost officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Bishop Kendall went on to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Tennova Hospital in Dyersburg. He was born in Jackson, TN son of the late Odis Matthew and Ava Marie Whitt Kendall.
He lived most of his life in Dyer and Crockett counties and has been in the ministry for 41 years. He served as pastor of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church in Friendship and was an avid woodsman. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Darlene Kendall.
He leaves his wife of 34 years, Sonya Frost Kendall of Dyersburg; sons, Jonathan Edward Kendall and Caleb DeWayne Kendall both of Dyersburg; daughter Ava Marlene Kendall of Finley; brothers, Odis Ray Kendall (Sheila) of Dyersburg, Billy DeWayne Kendall (Lynda) of Como; sisters, Charlene Kendall Peery (Robert) of Crockett Mills, Shirlene Kendall McDonald (Jeff) of Friendship, Donna Kendall Sipes (John) of Bells; brother-in-law, Lindon D. Frost; grandchild Baileigh Kate Kendall; a large church family; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Kendall, Daniel Comer, Matthew Comer, Luke Comer, Jared Sipes, Jacob Sipes, Jeremy McDonald and Jason Laster. Visitation will be from 6-9, Friday, January 6, 2017 at the church.
