Virginia Carolyn Rodgers' Obituary
Funeral services for Virginia Carolyn Rodgers, 65, will be held Friday March 11th at 3:00 P. M. at the Maury City Church of Christ with Bros. Dean Miller and Charles Yawn officiating with burial to follow in the Maury City Cemetery. Mrs. Rodgers died Tuesday March 8th at her sister's residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Crockett County, TN daughter of the late Harvey and Alice Chambers Dotson, educated in the local schools and attended West TN Business College. She was married to Johnny R. Rodgers who survives, a member of the Maury City Church of Christ and was a self employed baby sitter. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Adam Rodgers, sister, Margaret Vaughn (Danny) both of Maury City, niece Beverly Jetton, (Barry) nephews, Warren & Braden Vaughn, great nieces, Kristen Parker (Will), Melissa Wainscott, (Andrew) and Kimberly Winters (Michael). She was preceded by brothers, Edward and Kenneth Dotson. Pallbearers to serve will be Brad Garrett, Dennis East, Charles Vaughn, John Marvin, Tommy Butner, Mitchell Smith and honorary pallbearers Karel Riddick and Jerry Branch. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. March 10th;
