I knew Ralph back in 1981-1986. I still remember that black Ford pickup truck with red stripes. I remember he fell over with a motorcycle and injured his foot and I went to the emergency room with him. I remember once he tried to change his oil, drained the transmission instead, and added five quarts of oil to the engine. I never liked Ralph, He was a lying, conniving user and abuser. He had epilepsy, which is a serious condition, but he used it as an excuse to not have to get involved in a scuffle if a situation came to it, yet he hung out at bars, worked as a bartender at Plantation Inn, would start trouble, and then disappear on you when you weren't looking . You couldnt depend on him for anything or trust him with your money or property and especially not your life. That was 1981-1986. I never had much to do with Ralph after about 1982. He was younger then. 35 or 36. He was married and lived on Moss Street with his wife Judy. Judy wanted him gone, and her sister paid Ralph to move out. He smoked a lot of cigarettes then, but I don't remember him ever drinking. People change as they grow older, I get that, but the bad we do in life we are still accountable for. That's all I got to say about Ralph.
