William Connie Reynolds' Obituary
William Connie Reynolds, 75, of Martin, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 13, 2020. "Bill" as he was known by his Martin friends and "Connie" as he was known growing up in Friendship and by family. He was born on June 5, 1944 to the late Willie Maurice and Katie Sue O'Neal Reynolds in the Friendship Community. Mr. Reynolds married Brenda
Ferrell Reynolds in 1964 and she preceded him in death in 1997. He is also preceded by a brother, Bobby Reynolds. In 1999 Mr. Reynolds married Denise Doss who survives and they have resided in Martin since that time. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Rusty Reynolds (Donna) Friendship, TN, daughter Melissa Holmes (Michael), Friendship, TN, stepson Billy Doss, Martin, TN and stepdaughter, Sabrina Hoffman, Walkersville, MD. "Pop" cherished his grandchildren, Crystal Reasons, (Justin), Matt Reynolds,(Danielle), Luke Holmes and Hannah Gafner, three great grandchildren were the apple of his eye, Cade and Ruby-Kate Reasons, and Heidi Reynolds. They will all miss his visits, hugs, and kisses. Mr. Reynolds is also survived by a brother, Rick Reynolds (Jan), Florida and many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a faithful member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Martin. Family services will be held on Sunday May 17, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. David Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. A visitation with adherence to the Centers for Disease Control health guidelines will be implemented and begin at 12 noon. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
