I am so sorry to hear this but Mr. Smith is in a better place than we are. I loved Mr. Smith as a teacher. He was such an understanding and kind teacher. I have thought of him many times. He and Mrs. Smith are two teachers that really made an impression on me. They were really good people. He will be sadly missed.
I spent many hours in Mr. Smith's class rooms and in the cotton fields, picking cotton with him. RIP Mr. Smith.
Pops you will always be in my heart. I Love you and will miss you so very much.
