Joshua Terrell "Shib" Brasfield's Obituary
Funeral services for Joshua Terrell "Shib" Brasfield, 82, will be held Saturday November 25, 2017 at 2 P. M. at the Floyd's Chapel United Methodist Church with Revs. Ryan Pattat and Tony Moss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brasfield died Tuesday at this residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Crockett County, TN son of the late Wesley C. and Beulah Delph Brasfield and had lived his entire life in the Friendship Community. He was a veteran of the U S Army, farmer and a retired supervisor at Tupperware. Mr. Brasfield was a member of Floyd's Chapel United Methodist Church serving as Chairman of the Trustees and Cemetery for many years. He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Sandra Rainey Brasfield, Friendship, sons, Terry Brasfield (Lisa) Friendship, Steve Brasfield (Candy), Crockett Mills, TN, sister, Ann Climer, Friendship, grandchildren, Joshua, Cody (Tiffani), Demi, Amy, Christa, and great grandchild, Hunter. Pallbearers will be Mike Lumley, Chris Throgmorton, Lynn McFarland, David Brasfield, Freddie East, Kenny Agee, and Neil Camp. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Bushart, Larry Joe Bushart, Lynn Mount, Jim Lucas, Darrell Brasfield, and Chuck Crutchfield.
